Meet The Teams
Team Red - Nathan and Luke
Our names are Nathan and Luke and we’re ecstatic to be Senior Survivors this year!! We’re super grateful for the opportunity to support such amazing causes and grow as people!
Being Brighton students, we’ve observed the impact of senior survivor in our first 3 years of schooling. What we really observed was community and togetherness. Having an entire student body dedicated to supporting those in our community is truly inspirational. This inspired us to further our participation and join a survivor team. We hope to foster the same sense of community and support throughout our school and rise up to the challenge, making 2024 the best year for survivor yet.
We’ve been friends since we met freshman year on Brighton’s very own Cross Country team. We’ve grown together through many challenges and consistently push ourselves to new limits. Apart from this, we’re heavily involved in the classroom, taking our academics very seriously and continuing the grind. We love to joke around, be active, and hold intelligent discussions. Through our journey together and alone, we’ve learned the power of grit, consistency, and perseverance, which we believe will make us a amazing team. Luke plans to continue his journey in engineering and Nathan hopes to continue his in becoming an educator.
Team Orange - Drew and Carson
Carson Dinkelmann and Drew Ribble are super excited to be part of this year's senior survivor! They've been friends for 8 years and have been planning to be part of senior survivor for 6 years, when they first learned about it. Both Drew and Carson have attended Brighton schools their entire lives and love the idea of giving back to the community that has given so much to them. Carson is involved in the National Honor Society as well as the Brighton Wrestling team. Drew has played baseball for Brighton High School as well as for a summer team, and plans to play in college.
“I’m always looking to help others, no matter the situation. And I believe that it is our job as a community to do what we can to help those around us. That’s how I was raised, to be a good person. And that is what this event does, it brings out the best in everyone. We have to do our part. “ - Drew
“I am super excited to give back. Brighton and the surrounding areas have done so much for me as I’ve grown up here. This is a great way to bring joy to every one involved and I hope to be able to help out as much as I can.” - Carson
We are both moving on to the next chapter of our lives, but before we leave we want make sure that we give back to our wonderful community. After seeing the benefits of Senior Survivor, and how important it is to those who need it, we knew we had to get involved. And we want you to get involved too.
It’s super easy for you to help! And we need your help! You can contribute in many different ways. Whether that comes in the form of donating to help us reach our $15,000 goal, a Fund a Life sponsorship, or just cheering us on! This is an important cause and we need as many people as possible to do their part.
Donations are simple and secure. You can donate to our team on this website, as well as reaching out to donate by check.
Thank you for your contributions! And as always… Go Team Orange

In our past 4 years at BHS, we have seen the large impact this event can have on the community, and we are determined to live up to years past!
Besides being a part of Survivor, we are both runners for Brighton Track and Cross Country!
We love getting involved in Brighton activities and we couldn’t be happier to be a part of survivor week
Thanks for the donations!!!
Team Yellow - Alyssa and Mason!
Representing Team Yellow this year is Alyssa Swanson & Mason Mullally!!!
Alyssa has been going to Brighton her whole life, and remembers in middle school seeing these "old kids" participating in an event that does so much good, while having so much fun. Mason has witnessed Senior Survivor throughout high school and loved seeing how one week can make such a difference in people's lives. Alyssa & Mason met early on in high school, and later became good friends. Our junior year in our AP Government class, around the time of last years Senior Survivor, we both were looking for a partner so we got talking. Having known each other for quite some time, we knew there would be no better duo to take on this amazing opportunity. We share a strong desire to help support this years fundraisers, and we have competitive spirits to work to raise the most money!
Alyssa is involved in volleyball, DECA, and Leadership through the high school. She enjoys traveling, being with her friends & family, and spending time outside. Mason is apart of football, track, Senior Class Council, Leadership, and is President of Brighton's DECA Chapter. He enjoys hunting, fishing, watching sports, and being with friends. We both plan at studying business after high school.
Senior Survivor is important to us because of the impact it has on our community. Being at Brighton for so long, you begin to see the all the good Senior Survivor does, and we are SO EXCITED to be apart of it this year.
Team Teal - Ava and Liam
We are Ava and Liam Hasson, and we are excited to introduce ourselves as the BHS 2024 Team Teal!
We've always loved Senior Survivor Week. It's a time when the school and the greater community come together to support a great cause. The school always feels vibrant and exciting as we watch teams compete to help the community.
Growing up as twins, we've shared everything. As Senior Survivors, we're thrilled to share one last thing before going off to college. We can't wait to make incredible memories of our final days in high school together while supporting two incredible causes.
Team Blue - Emma and Maggie
Our names are Emma and Maggie and we’re so excited to be one of the next Senior Survivor teams at BHS!
After watching many seniors compete in Senior Survivor throughout high school, we knew we wanted to join in the fun! The lively spirit of the Survivor week is something truly unmatched that we couldn’t wait to be a part of!
We’ve been best friends and softball teammates for 6 years, making us a great team. We are both members of the BHS Varsity softball team, meaning we are no strangers to the high energy, competitive environment that Senior Survivor week will bring.
Team Pink - Autumn and Brooke
Our names are Autumn and Brooke and we’re so excited to be one of the next Senior Survivor teams at BHS!
When we were freshman and saw for the first time what Senior Survivor was all about, we knew we had to team up to have the chance to give back to our community and make a real difference in people's lives.
We’ve been best friends for 7 years! Ever since the first day of 6th grade, we have been inseparable. We have been cheering together on the Brighton Varsity Cheer Team all 4 years of high school, and we got our first jobs working together making us an even stronger team. Before moving on to the next chapter of our lives, we wanted to do one last thing to leave our mark.
Senior Survivor is so important to us because in order to make changes, WE HAVE TO TAKE ACTION! Fund a Life charity and The Sunflower Project is the perfect way to help those in need by getting our community involved.
How can you help us?
We need you! We need your support. Whether that be in the form of matching funds we raise, sponsoring our team in a major way (which we can customize!), by making a contribution towards our $12,500 goal, or by opening a door for us and cheering us on, we will need it all! Together, we can all help impact people's lives right here in Brighton and beyond.
Donations are super easy and secure. You can make a contribution right through this site, or contact us to make a donation by check. We can support whatever your giving preference may be.
Thank you for all of your support and joining us on the exciting and impactful journey!
Team Pink for the win!
Team Purple - Boris and Aiden
Welcome to 2024’s Senior Survivor Team Purple! The survivors this year are Boris Adames and Aiden Tabaka.
Boris has been on the Robotics team for 3 years, and is now also part of the backstage cast for this year’s musical. He is excited to take part in Senior Survivor.
Aiden is a Clarinet player and is Captain of Rank 12 in the Marching Band, as well as the Bass Clarinet Section Leader in Symphony Winds. He is beyond thankful to have been chosen and is excited to be a part of Senior Survivor this year.
We have been friends for a couple of years now, and both know we make a great team, which is important for what we are trying to accomplish during our time in Senior Survivor. Our goal is to raise as much money as we possibly can for Fund a Life and the Sunflower Project, which are two incredible charities working towards goals that will help improve the lives of countless lives. Both Boris and Aiden, along with the help of their friends, are going to do all that they can in order to make those goals seem even more likely than they are, and are willing to go above and beyond to make this goal a reality.
Team Black - Ryan and Sage
Our names are Ryan and Sage, and we're so excited to be one of the next Senior Survivor teams at BHS!
When we saw our first survivor week, we felt that giving back to our community was important and knew we had to have our chance to get involved in the future. Being a part of helping charities and knowing that it is helping people is the purest form of fulfillment. We have since been a part of other groups and clubs in Brighton to fuel our charitable flame.
"The founder of this charity, my soccer coach, taught me how important it is to give back. This lesson has done so much for me and my community." -Ryan.
"I have always been strong-willed to help others around me. As I have gotten involved in my school, I have been able to take action in things that give back to people in my community. Seeing all the hard work come together and help something bigger than myself inspires me to give back to my community. The people in my Brighton Community are here for us at the High School, and I am grateful to be in a place where I can give back to them." -Sage.
We've known each other since elementary school and have been a part of the Student Government and Leadership Class together this year, making us a strong and fun team. We are very active in Brighton athletics and have a strong connection to our Brighton Community. We share a bond on enjoying good food, spending time with family and friends, and appreciating our fun times!
